1.City Tour

Get up close and personal with inner city Durban. A colourful visit out to the Golden mile starts the tour. The Harbour with all manner of sailing and fishing boats right by Wilson’s Wharf follows. The Durban CBD holds in store for you the City Hall, Esplanade and lively Warwick Junction. This is all before a cool stroll through the Durban Botanic Gardens. To spices up your tour the Victoria Indian Market affords you a plethora of curios and more.

2.Township Tour

We proceed to the pulsing INK area of Durban. KZN’s most famous townships made up of Inanda, Ntuzuma and Kwa-Mashu. Thereafter we drive to see the Mahatma Gandhi settlement. We can visit either a Sangoma, a Clinic or a Tavern. We then proceed to Inanda Seminary (the first black private boarding school in SA -- where many prominent SA women have attended) and then the John Dube House. We also visit the Nazarene Shembe Church for a touch of local Zulu spirituality.

3.Shakaland

Visit the site of the beloved and popular Shaka Zulu TV series. This has been converted into a dynamic traditional Zulu village for you to see the workings of the day-to-day Zulu Culture. An exciting, energetic, stunning Dance show follows. For your enjoyment and refreshment a traditional Zulu and / European lunch will be served.

We have an optional evening tour including dinner and dancing by torch light under the stars -- overnight options are also available.

4. Hluhluwe and St. Lucia

We start bright and early in the morning for an exciting drive through the Hluhluwe-Mfolosi game reserve. The Hluhluwe-Mfolosi game reserve is the oldest game reserve in South Africa. It is home to the big 5, with a complete, dynamic eco system, a haven for the best of South African game. The Hluhluwe-Mfolosi game reserve offers some of the best game viewing in the country. Antelope, Zebra, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Lions, Cheetah, Warthogs and various Birds are just a few of the local fauna that call Hluhluwe-Mfolosi game reserve home. From the park we are off on an afternoon drive to St. Lucia. A boat cruise on Lake Santa Lucia follows. The St. Lucia estuary has a unique eco-system, where you get to see more fauna like the Hippos and Crocodiles. It is also a veritable delight for bird “fundis”.

5. Battlefield Tours

Experience the valiant glory of brave soldiers fighting to the last man in the flash, drama and emotion of the British Empire clash against the mighty ama-Zulu warriors. Visit the Battlefields of Isandlawana and Rorkes Drift. See the sprawling fields where the Zulu army of old armed with shield and spears defeated the mighty British regiment equipped with guns and cannons. Relive the famous film “Zulu at the Rorkes Drift” where the British soldiers fought off a Zulu army thereby earning their Victoria Crosses. A visit to the Boer war Battlefields, on request, is available on a separate tour. This is a visit to Ladysmith, Spionkop and Colenso.

Overnight options are also available including Anglo Boer and Boer Zulu tour options.
